The Insulation Installation
Our house is now insulated! A crew worked from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, finishing a job in 12 hours that would've taken Walter and me
exceptionally drastically about a hundred times longer. If you can get past the cotton candy craving the insulation evokes, it gives the general appearance of walls and ceiling causing the rooms to feel a bit more homey (in a Mr. Mint and Gramma Nut are my neighbors sort of way).
Last Saturday, Walter had some help from his brother, sister in law, little nephew, and cousin cleaning up the rooms. That's the thing about renovating, you have to clean up so new messes can be made.
The exterior walls were insulated along with the upstairs ceiling. For sound insulation, Walter had them insulate the bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Prior to this, only the attic crawl space and the attic storage area (right side of the house only) had been insulated. It was a blow in type that looked much like the picture below (but that insulation is new).

the insulation could be installed.
Tomorrow morning, a crew is coming bright and early to get the drywall up. Hooray!
